Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates it. That company processes the name or case number and supplies the response. We do not retain or record those query terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be kept as needed to respond. It remains within the operating team unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Ordinary server and analytics logs may collect technical facts when a page loads:
- Page-view dates, times, and duration
- Device type and operating system
- Browser name and version
- Internet Protocol address
- Pages viewed during the visit
- A referring site, when one is supplied
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. They and analytics services help produce aggregate information about site use, such as popular pages and where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how some features work.
What We Do With This Data
- Operating, securing, and improving site performance
- Sending a requested query to the selected provider
- Finding and correcting technical faults
- Measuring which resources visitors use
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Hamblen County Court Docket neither hosts nor sells a database of case records or personal court data. It publishes directions to Hamblen TnCIS, Tennessee courts, Teresa West's Circuit Court Clerk office, and Teresa Carey's Clerk & Master office. Visitor information is not assembled into third-party records or consumer reports, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies supply the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and disclosure practices govern information submitted to them. Review the provider's policy before entering a query because this policy does not control that processing.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Hamblen County offices, Tennessee court systems, legal-aid resources, or commercial services. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy terms apply. Check them before sharing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across sites and select ads. Their systems control that tracking.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be disclosed to:
- Analytics vendors measuring traffic and performance
- Search providers processing a submitted query
- Advertising networks serving page content
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect collected information. No internet system can be guaranteed secure, so complete protection against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access cannot be promised.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Information identified as belonging to a minor may be requested for deletion.
Your Data Rights
The Tennessee Information Protection Act may provide rights concerning personal information when its terms apply. Those privacy rights are distinct from access to government records under the Tennessee Public Records Act, T.C.A. ยงยง 10-7-503 and 10-7-504, and court-record access under Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 and Rule 1A. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:
- Request access to personal data held about that visitor
- Seek correction of inaccurate information
- Ask for deletion where the law permits it
- Opt out of covered forms of processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised. A replacement becomes effective when posted here with its updated effective date, so visitors should review the current version periodically.
